I have a great product I want to share with you lovely Blondies out there!! I must share a little bit of life right now because I know there has to be someone out there that can relate…I mean there must!!
We all know that taking care of ourselves and pampering ourselves every chance we get is vital to maintaining a good attitude and if we are taking care of us we can take better care of others. But this isn’t always the case now is it. For me I don’t recognize that I need me time until I am about to lose it!
One of my favorite “me time” things to do is get my hair done. I am a sucker for getting my hair played with so hands down the salon for highlights has to be my go-to for a nice 2-3 hr hair sesh. My hair also happens to be one of the main things I tend to neglect when it comes to caring for myself and getting away for “me time”. Of course I wash my hair (not everyday though) , I am talking about keeping up with my highlights! I will literally let my hair go so long without, just bc I don’t notice it or I am super busy, that when I do notice my re-grwoth I should probably change my blog name to The Chic Brunette lol!!
The other day I finally scheduled a hair appointment that is 3 maybe even 4 months over due *instert shocked face emoji*
Of course me being the go-go-go lets do 15 tasks at once type of person I freaking missed my appointment! Ugh!! Damn it…I hope she can get me in later. Nope no more openings this week. Lovely.
Now my roots are bugging the hell out of me and I am getting anxious to get them fixed and wouldn’t you know! Wait for it… “ Hey, babe?! Don’t forget we have to go…” OMG *palm in face* Right! *mummbles* I haven’t forgotten about that dinner. Its just my hair looks like absolute BS right now 🙁
THANKFULLY I have some Back 2 Blonde, a temporary fix for dark roots. Hello lifesaver or at least a hair saver for the evening.
It comes in 3 shades. I tried the Medium brown first but it wasn’t the right shade for me so I went with the Light Blonde which was perfect. I recommend when deciding on a color to match it to your lightest highlight.
It was so easy to SPRAY on my roots and cover the horrible re-growth. The thing I love most about the product is the fact that when it sets on your hair it doesn’t feel hard or sticky and it leaves behind a slight shimmer to give your hair a healthy natural appearance. I was so worried it would look dull and flat like dry shampoo does to your hair but it was great just the right amount of shine! Also it washes out with one wash. DONE!
I happily attended the dinner with no problems and nothing but compliments….I did lie once though lol I couldn’t blow my cover when someone complimented my hair and asked if I recently had it lightened! haha shhhhh! #LiveLife2TheBlondest
Using Dark Brown I sprayed swift fine lines over the Light Blonde to give it dimension and the appearance of lowlights.
You can pick some Back 2 Blonde up for yourself at CVS, Walgreens, or Rite Aide to have on hand when you can’t get to an appointment in time or you are trying to go longer in between your highlight appointments to promote healthier hair.
