I love all things glitter, sparkly, and gold and I since the birth of my little boy, Bowen, I have fallen in love with feathers and arrows. So what better way to bring the two together than this! They are so simple and easy! Plus they add a chic glamorous look to any space. I have a few in an apothecary jar, some mixed in with my flower arrangements, on a tassel garland, and just sitting alone on a side table. Lets get started….
You will need:
Mod Podge or any craft glue
The first thing you’ll want to do is get your workspace in order. An area that you can get messy. I like to do this over a paper towel ( when using the glue and for drying ) and a piece of paper ( for easier clean up and you can just fold the paper up after you are done and use it as a funnel to put the excess glitter back into the bottle)
Next go ahead and paint the glue on both sides of the feather about halfway down, unless you want a completely gold glitter feather then have at it and paint it all!!
The fun part….GLITTER TIME!!!! This is when you will use your piece of paper. Sprinkle the glitter onto the feather over the piece of paper. Be sure to do both sides. Give the feather a tap or two to shake off the excess glitter.
Lay them on the paper towel so they can dry for about an hour. Once they are completely dry style them where ever and how ever you please!!
I would love to see your finished product and how you styled them!!! Be sure to share #jessicabgoldfeatherdiy
