With spring slowly making its way back into our lives I’ve started pulling outfits that will brighten and lighten my wardrobe from all the faux furs and dark tones of winter. I am so over it being cold aren’t you? A few colors I always love for spring are of course white and pinks but also all the pastels! They are the perfect colors to transition your winter closet into spring. When its still in between winter and spring I tend to favor whites to carry me through until the weather is a little more stable and especially when I am having those “I don’t know what to wear” days which is every week lol. You can pair a white top with colorful jewelry, colored shoes, and purses to bring your outfit to life. Also setting aside the dark jeans or black jeans for white pants is a great way to transition your winter wardrobe.
I love this lace top (non maternity) its so dainty but the off the shoulder gives it edge. This is a top that will be there for you through spring and summer. I already have big plans for this number paired with a cute pair of cut off shorts once I pop this baby out!
To not over do it with bright colors just yet I went with a light pastel peach heel to lighten the outfit. I was on a mission for blush heels recently but stumbled upon these that happened to be on sale at the time so I compromised.
I have been on a serious shoe kick lately hunting down all the spring and summer shoe staples. I will share my purchases below! Now I need to find my key spring/summer pieces to completely my capsule for the season. I will share them will you here next week!
On to baby bump. I have to admit y’all, I am NOT a good pregnant person lol. I have my pregnancy highs and seriously low lows. Right now I am battling a fierce desire to always eat but getting extremely full! I have no more room in there! Plus I crave ice and of course the fridge we have here in Bahrain does not have an automatic ice maker. I have a plan tho…. I am planing on going to the Johnny Rockets across the street with a few gallon size zip locks and asking for some ice because they have the good stuff. Yes they have the Sonic ice I so dearly miss! I keep you posted on this plan! No my food intake solution I haven’t figured out just yet. I know small frequent meals is one answer but that just not me y’all I like my food in abundance haha. I did buy tupperware to motivate me to prep my snacks and meals so I don’t gorge myself with random shit until I feel sick and miserable large. I just need to hop on Pinterest and find meal ideas that I will actually eat. If you have any meal ideas shoot me a message I would love to know!
Only 8ish weeks to go which cannot come soon enough! We viewed the hospital L&D and mother and baby rooms so thats done. On the down side I did discover that the “luxury” after care items we get in the states are not common at all here which means I will be doing some shopping for my *ahem* girl because after having two babies I know how important those items are and I refuse to go without!! I will share everything with you in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
Bloopers! Got to love long hair and wind lol
